傳感器主要用於檢查紙張的寬度，傳感器位置在墨車左下裡（電腦自動關機）面（皮帶輪方向為裡（電腦自動關機）面），用手指使用餐巾紙深入到打印機墨車左面起擦，將墨水粘干淨。

　　同時，打印機左面有一海綿，取下清洗干淨再放進去．或者干脆就不再放進去，這樣的處理方法原則上就不用拆卸打印機了。
